Pico de loro Traverse is an unusual route in climbing Mt. Palay-palay where the exit point is the province of Batangas. After a successful Mt. Maculot reverse climb, we decided to have a year ender climb, and our chosen Mountain is my “Mother Mountain”- Pico de Loro!. Its nice to be back after my first climb last april of this year. To make it more exciting and different, we decided to do a traverse climb to Nasugbu Batangas.

Mt. Sembrano is a known hiking destination in Pililla Rizal, Some of my friends already climbed this mountain, so I’m got curious and wanted to visit this mountain. We arrived at Barangay Malaya around 0900H. We started our trek and reached the Mangahan around 1000H. We took our early lunch and explored the area. At Mangahan we heard that there’s a nearby falls, but we were not able to visit it that day.
La Mesa Eco Park is an affordable place for family picnics and gatherings. This is a perfect place to breath fresh air and to have a picnic.
Mt. Cristobal also known as “Devil’s Mountain”, -due to its “W” shape as well as creepy secrets and mysteries.
After a trilogy in Batangas, Malipunyo, Manabu and Susong Dalaga. Climb&Dive family chose this place to celebrate Anniversary climb.
Mt. Daguldol is situated in Brgy. Hugom, San Juan Batangas – boasting of its height at 670 meters above sea level. The jump-off area is near the seaside where you can have a sidetrip, with a lot of resorts to choose rom after going down.
We continue our traverse to Manabu Peak from Mt. Malipunyo. Our chosen exit point is Sto Tomas, Batangas. Manabu Peak is known as a “Cofee Mountain” because at the middle of the trail, there’s a hut owned by Mang Pirying, who offers homemade “Kapeng Barako” – absolutely for free.
Mt. Malipunyo belongs to the Malarayat mountain range, located around the municipalities of Sto Tomas and Talisay Batangas.
The traverse hike can be done in many ways – depending on the entry and exit point the group will choose. The itinerary can also vary depending on the number of peaks desired, and if there is a sidetrip.
After a successful overnight camp and hike in Mt. Batulao, we headed to Fernandez Residence to take our lunch and rest for a while to regain our energy. We planned our side trip near the vicinity of Lemery Batangas.
