Mt. Timarid and Mt. Simagaysay are the mountains located in Brgy. Manalpac, Solsona, Ilocos Norte. This is the exit point of Mt. Sicapoo Expedition if you will do a traverse that called a rosary trail. Also served as alternative path if the Gasgas river is impassable to cross during raining season.
Mt. Sicapoo is a hiking destination in the province of Ilocos Norte with a towering height of up to 2,356 Meters Above Sea Level. It is known as one of the most difficult mountains to climb in Luzon.
My first lighthouse is the Cape Bojeador Lighthouse. This is a cultural heritage structure built during the Spanish Colonial Era. It is located in the municipality of Burgos in the province of Ilocos Norte. The lighthouse stands 66 feet and it is built on top of Vigia de Bagpatian Hill.
A three day trip to Ilocos with friend of friends. Our first destination is Vigan in Ilocos Sur. This place history reflects of the Philippine history in its entirety. A journey that keeping you close to history, you’ll be as much excited as I am to visit this lovely province in the northwestern-most part of the Philippines. From great food to great sights, stories and being taken back to old worlds.
